However, I've learned that it's crucial to prioritize work-life balance to avoid burnout and maintain overall well-being. Here are five tips that have helped me find the right balance:

Setting boundaries is key to balancing work and personal life. I've established clear working hours and try to avoid checking emails or grading papers during weekends and holidays. For example, I don't answer emails after 6 pm, and I don't bring work home on weekends. By creating these boundaries, I make time for personal activities and recharge for the week ahead.


2. Prioritize Self-Care


Self-care is essential for my overall well-being. I try to make time for activities that help me recharge and rejuvenate, such as exercise, meditation, reading, or spending time with loved ones.
